There was a backlash to the Demi Moore phenomena and that was the long line of copycats. Nude pregnant celebrities is a big hit with the women’s magazines. Although I can’t really complain- they are beautiful shots, although I tend to prefer the values in the Monica Bellucci shot.

#9 The Photography of Jessica Blaine Smith

Jessica Blaine Smith is a professional photographer. She mostly does weddings and other lovely occasions, such as pregnancy. The interesting thing about Smith’s images is that they don’t have that regular feel of “wedding photos”. There’s something more real, and yet soft about her images. Every once in a while, she creates something a bit noir, like this beauty.

DeviantARTIST SexyIllustrator is a brilliant cartoon pinup artist. This cartoon neo pinup is a great example of what classically done pregnant pinups could look like. Looking at this one, I’d love to see more of these.

#7 Breastmates Fashion Pinups

Breastmates was developed by New Zealander mum, Frances. Originally an engineer, Frances developed breast pads to prevent the breast feeding leaks. In time, Breastmates would become a full on maternity fashions shop, complete with clothing and lingerie. Their highly professional images are delightful, giving mama a new sexy image.

#6 Maxim Nominates Hottest Pregnant Women

Maxim nominated its sexiest pregnant women. Definitely an impressive list, including the likes of the beautiful Angelina Jolie, Heidi Klum and Halle Barry. I have to say that my favorite image is that of Brooke Burke. Burke generally tends to smile a lot, but in this image she just radiates. The image is beautifully done, the style is modern- typical of mid 1990’s to early 21st century. This is a pinup that can become a classic.

#5 The Sexy Mother To Be MrSyn

Patryk Pigeon (aka “MrSyn” on DeviantART) is a photographer, who does plenty of goth neo pinup. I just happened to stumble apon this lovely Mrs, while taking a lookat his gallery. Definitly not your typical mama. Beautiful, coy and oozing sex.

#4 Pregnant and Clothed - A touch of Retro

Some celebrities opted for a semi-clothed pregnant pictorials. I find that these shoots bring it closer to traditional pinup art. Milla Jovovich’s cheeky biting of the curtain is exactly what pinup art has always been about. While Britney Spears managed to, somehow, look like the ultimate oxymoron- a pregnant Lolita.

#3 Nicole Michelle Maternity Swimsuit

Nicole Michelle features lovely, retro maternity swimwear collection for the pregnant woman. Polka dots, psychedelic prints and a mini dress cut is what it’s all about. It’s this image, to the left, that got me, though. This could have been Sophia Lauren in her heyday. Just gorgeous!

Murciano is another DeviantARTist. A fantastic photo manipulator, his gallery is equally as fascinating as it is pleasing to the eye. This Sci-Fi pinup is another one of those fascinating pieces.

#1 Sexy Pregnancy by Gosia Stepien

Gosia Stepien does many pregnancy shots, but I found this one to be exceptional. Like the Brook Burke image, this is a perfect moment of serenity, with very clear sexuality. The woman is beautiful and very easily identified in the context of her era. A pinup in all respects.
